These guys seek self-determination by building floating islands. I wonder how they hold up in storms. A hurricane wrecked the shit of the first one, but the idea is not without merit. Sealand is a sunken barge on a sandbar. Use seacrete to anchor these to a sandbar and who knows?
Seacrete, by the way, is a promising idea for how to create a concrete like material without portland cement. Plenty of minerals in the sea water to be extracted and formed into towers and sunk on barges to make new sealands, with the proper organization.
